The process of editing has been tough, and choosing the right music to go in the opening of our thriller has been one of the hardest tasks. As a group we decided we didn't want the music to be fast-paced as it wouldn't go with whats showing on screen as it would in other peoples thriller openings. We decided to go with something more creepy and eerie and after weeks of looking, Katherine found this on youtube:
The user DyIansMusic on YouTube created the song and as you can see in the comments he allows media students from across the country to use the track in their media video's as long as you give him full credit. The tone of this track is very eerie and creepy which reflects Pennys character in the forest scene.
Another track we found but decided not to use was the track below. Although it sounded OK when listening to it on YouTube, we felt when it was with our footage it did not match, and gave the wrong effect to the viewers.
